When you listen to Rick Kogan’s “After Hours” on WGN (AM 720, 5-7 PM Sundays), you should picture his voice bouncing around the panorama of Lake Michigan, the mouth of the Chicago River and the Navy Pier Ferris wheel.
Rick favors an intimate studio in WGN’s posh still newish digs at 303 E. Wacker, the studio with the best view outside. Inside, there’s one comfy table and two chairs. If it weren’t for the big microphones, you’d think someone was going to slap a cocktail napkin down in front of you and ask what you’re drinking. All very apropos.
So chatting with Rick is as pleasant as listening at home on the radio, and I’m grateful he asked me on. If you didn’t have a chance to listen, you can check it out online here if you have time.
So cool!!!
A great listen. Thanks for posting the link!
