Thanks again for your work, always an interesting read. Look forward to the Father Dubi feature, he married a couple that I stood up for back in 1983. Also I'm betting that Cavanaugh's ended up in the old restaurant space, it was a pretty nice place to eat and drink. https://www.timeout.com/chicago/bars/cavanaughs-bar-restaurant
Thanks James! I just checked out the link--you must be right, and Cavanaugh's looks like a worthy successor. Father Dubi: Really! If you still talk with them and they have any memories to share about Father Dubi, please let me know!
As far as Cavanaugh's is concerned, my wife worked in the building for many years and always enjoyed my visits to the office. Jacobs Brothers had some good bagels and the hat store was kind of interesting.
Turns out he has not spoken to him in many years. Back in the early 80's he used to play in the guitar masses at Queen of Apostles and that is how he knew him. He said the last time he saw was about a decade ago at a mass at St. Victor's and he was pretty sure that he did not recall him. Sorry, sounds like he would not be any help.

I have been sending him clips of the articles and he seems to be interested in your project. I will forward your question to him.
Great, thanks! Possibly they didn't know him well, but you never know.

Thanks for checking, you never know!
It was the least I could do, good luck with thread.
